Celebrating Freemason Sir Alexander Fleming
Born on This Day was biologist, physician and Freemason Sir Alexander Fleming./
Fleming was awarded the Nobel Prize in 1945 for discovering penicillin, the world’s first antibiotic.
He was initiated into Sancta Maria Lodge No. 2682 in 1909.
