Brac Lodge Freemasons send Bahamas Hurricane Relief
Worshipful Master Waide DaCosta encouraged the Brac Lodge Brethren to give to the Brac Lodge Bahamas Hurricane Dorian Relief Fund “Within The Length of Their Cable Tow”
Many Brethren gave generously and quickly
In the Initial wave of Support Brac Lodge purchased $12,000 US worth of supplies and as of 2 days of fundraising we have raised twice that amount- therefore Brac Lodge will be able to give later when new needs are determined.
The above pictures are of 5 pallets of toiletries, insect repellent, First Aid Supplies, Feminine Hygiene Products, Baby Food, Baby and Adult Diapers, disposable gloves, as requested by the District Grand Lodge of Bahamas and Turks, Scottish and Irish District in Bahamas who have coordinated a drop off/assembly point in Nassau to pack and ship these donations from the Brac Lodge along with other donations from local Freemasons and worldwide support.
Some pictures are of the Staff at Nassau Agencies and Lowe’s Wholesale who packed the goods – then the Bahamian Freemasons who received the goods that will repack, wrap and send to Grand Bahamas and Abaco.
